About
Every moment in this world is the collision of a near infinite number of factors and sometimes those factors create a moment that I find aesthetically appealing.
Gear
Camera
Olympus
The majority of my work is shot on an Olympus [full name]. While it’s an older camera without all the latest features, it’s a tool I know well and trust. When I press the shutter, it delivers allowing me to focus on the moment I’m trying to capture.
Lenses
50mm
I primarily use a 50mm prime lens for its natural perspective, similar to how we see the world with our own eyes. It helps create images that feel intimate and immersive, drawing you into the moment.
85mm
But when I need to focus in on a subject, I use an 85mm prime lens. Its compression and shallow depth of field help isolate the subject from its surroundings, allowing emotion, detail, and presence to take center stage.
